Welcome to the eGroupWare Modifications Trac Instance

This environment tracks the upstream development branch (trunk) status of the  eGroupWare enterprise groupware server software from  Stylite, and allows us to make and easily distribute modifications.

Current Modifications

• Addition of the MSS SiteMgr theme, on display at  Messinet Secure Services

Important Notes

• Read README.MSS prior to using this repository as it contains important information regarding the modification of eGroupWare's default configuration.
• Read README.389DS if you plan to place your eGroupWare accounts and/or contacts in a  389 LDAP Directory Server (formerly Fedora / RedHat / Netscape Directory Server), rather than an OpenLDAP Directory Server.

As of July 25, 2009, the eGroupWare Modifications Trac Instance no longer uses  Subversion and now sits atop a  Git repository.

Future Modifications

When I get some free time, I'd like to begin working on XHTML compatibility for the SiteMgr modules. While the MSS SiteMgr theme itself validates as XHTML 1.0 Strict, the modules that pull eGroupWare content into the SiteMgr are not. Unfortunately, this means that the resulting SiteMgr site does not validate.
